The maintenance-free brushless EC motor guarantees a longer running time in operation as well as an increased service life of the device. The motor is controlled via the new STIHL EC electronics, which detects loads caused by thick branches, for example, and will re-adjust the motor speed so that the number of strokes always remains constant during the cut.
